Happy Easter!
We are celebrating Easter this weekend!
Orthodox Christian (Eastern Christianity) are celebrating the Easter in April 27 this year. Since the majority is Orthodox here, Friday and next Monday will be the public holidays!
We guessed the city was rather empty because of this, so we planned to go sightseeing in the city *again. I'm glad we did, coz the city was so flowery that we had to take some pictures.
A big chess board in the Union Square! Checkmate!!

The Easter Eggs.

And the cute rabbits!

Me with the Mr. Rabbit.

The Victory Square, full of colourful tulips!

Taking pictures with the fountain.

Fountain, fountain, please make my wish comes true...

We went to the Bega River after the Victory Square, the water flows towards the Danube River in another end of Romania. We sat on a bench for a couple of minutes enjoying the moment. I wish we could have a house here, near the river, surrounded by the green and the chirping birds. Everything seems peaceful and relaxing. Oh yeah, that's not a house in the picture, it's a restaurant.

你好嗎?
We were gonna run out of water, so we thought of getting some water for cooking use from outside .
"OK then, I think I can go with this outfit (a pair of beige training pants, a long-sleeve green top, a baby blue sweater and without a bra *wink wink*) since the place is just a stone's throw away from our house and I'm gonna stay inside the car..." I murmured to myself.
"No, I think you should wear properly as you will walk down the staircase and might bump into somebody..." Daniel said.
OK very well, I changed my top, worn my bra and the rest of them, then we shot off.
While walking down the staircase with my hands carrying the empty bottles (which would be threw into the recycle bin), there were two young ladies came by. Thought I didn't know them very well, I didn't greet them at all.
Then one of the lady looked at me, and suddenly said "你好嗎?"
I turned my head, looked at her and replied her in awe with my big smile "Oh, you can speak in Chinese! Haha... 我很好, thank you, 謝謝!"
She was giggling away and left.
"If you replied her foarte bine, multumesc! (means I'm very good, thank you) It will be very interesting... haha." said Daniel.
"Yeah I should have done that but at that very moment I couldn't even find what language to speak, English came out instinctively!" I smiled.
Wow, a Romanian lady spoke to me in Mandarin, that's cool. I'm impressed! There are not many Chinese here and nobody had done this to me until just now. I can't describe the feeling in words, but I am very happy to hear this :)
A simple greet has brightened up my day.

Snow Bell
These snowbells are different from other snowbells I've seen over the internet. I particularly like this round snowbell coz it is very cute, small, more bell-shaped and has a very nice mild scent. The cutest part is, they always face down to the snow.
Flowers have their own language (花之语). For instance, rose, is Love. I'd realised that the language of snowbell is Happiness, it brings happiness, a lot of happiness. I learnt about this from a Korean drama called "Snow Queen". It's a very nice drama, sad but touching.
This snowbell is very nice, right!? The name just suits the flower perfectly!

A New Look For My Blog...Or Not?
I'm thinking if I should give my blog a new look... *tapping fingers*
The previous designs are all in HTML, which is quite easy to pick up. I think I'm gonna switch to new blogger in XML. I want to include the travel experience, foods and other stuff all under one roof. Shacks, I need to learn more about the codings and re-design everything. Ew... It's gonna take a good time to start all over again.
Since I've been using the dark-mode (or dark-mood) designs for the past, I should change it to a brighter one. It's nice if I have an original banner and signature of my own, maybe with flash? .. urgh *think & think*
OK, this is a project for myself. With Daniel the computer freak's help, I think I should be able to accomplish this before May...hopefully :D

Botanical Garden In Spring
It was a nice Sunday, we decided to go to the botanical park to have a walk since it's spring now. My father asked me to take more pics, so I did.
We found a perfect parking place in front of the entrance, and then we entered the park. There were lots of people, mostly were family with kids and the couples in affectionate love. It was 22ºC outside, I love the weather ^^ Even the birds, I could feel that they were happy here.
Basically, the board says something like "No picking the flowers, No littering, No animals..." and bla bla kind of things.

The park's entrance.

The tree with lots and lots of newly bloomed flowers.

Little daisies, having a sun-bathing.

Interesting fruits (or not...?) looked like the globes dangling on the christmas tree, tried to see closely and they looked like the lychee. Of course, cannto be eaten... but don't ask me the name, I dunno...

"No... I'm not trying to pick the flowers..."

I thought they were the lavenders... but I couldn't smell anything...hmmm...

Close-up look.

I wonder why there is a wall with entrance, probably is another part of the palace but destroyed long long time ago during the war. Now is the perfect place for vandalism - graffiti.

A place for the birds to eat when raining. Birds here are protected and are taken care of.

Tulips, selling price is 4 Lei per stalk outside. Here is.. for free -- if your hands are 'itchy' and pick them, but you may have to pay a painful price if caught in the act.

Say cheese...

Lotus??? No... it's Magnolia.

Sniff sniff...

Liz : "Err... Mr. Guard, can I cut and move this beautiful tree to my house... pleeeeeeeeeaaase?? I promise I will take good care of it..."
Guard : "Yeah, in your dream..."

This tree is real pretty...awww~

Liz : "OK, never mind. How bout this? It has a very nice smell!"
Guard : "..."

All the pics above are without Daniel, but I did go with him, just that he didn't want to show his very manly face (not shaved) so yeah... this is our shadows ^^

An Ordinary Day
I baked some brownies in the morning for my lunch.
Today's weather is wonderful, not sunny though... Looking out the window, the wind blowing, the wine leaves dancing along and the birds singing... it's spring time :) Having a cup of warm Earl Grey tea and some fresh-from-oven brownies, while enjoying the moment, suddenly I feel... Life is good.
Everything seems to be in an upbeat mood, I feel relax and happy today. Maybe I got the blessings from one of my friends yesterday...Thanks Leone!
Life should be like this, nothing fancy, carefree and relax... no?
